Reuters taps Magtulis as financial graphics reporter

Prinz Magtulis

Prinz Magtulis will join the graphics team at Reuters as a financial graphics reporter, covering the U.S. economy, business and financial markets.

He will be based in New York.

Previously, he wrote political risk analysis on the Philippines at IHS Markit. He was business news head/editor at Philstar.com.

He formerly reported on business, macroeconomy and politics in the Philippines and Asean-5 for FT Confidential Research, a digital research service of the Financial Times. He was also a business reporter at The Philippine Star.

He was also a contributor at Forbes.

Magtulis has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Santo Tomas and is pursuing a M.S. in data journalism from Columbia University.
