Josh Smith has been named Korea bureau chief for Reuters.
He will lead a Reuters bureau of 22 journalists covering news from South Korea and North Korea.
Smith previously was a senior correspondent in Seoul for the past six years. He also worked for Reuters in Afghanistan.
Smith previously worked at Stars and Stripes and The National Journal. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University and a master’s degree from Kings College London.
