Mary Milliken has been named Los Angeles bureau chief at Reuters.
She will start her new position in November.
Milliken is currently U.S. foreign policy editor for Reuters in the Washington bureau. She previously was weekend editor in charge and U.S. media editor.
Milliken was also top news editor for the West Coast and Washington bureau chief.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Spanish from Indiana University.
