
Adam Jourdan has been named companies news editor for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Reuters, based in London.
He will start his new position on July 28.
Jourdan has been south Latin America bureau chief for the past six years, based in Buenos Aires. He previously was chief correspondent for company news in China, where he has led a team in Beijing and Shanghai covering the corporate fall-out of a trade war with the United States.
He joined Reuters as a graduate trainee in 2012, covering stories including pigs floating down the Huangpu river into Shanghai, hazardous pollution and China’s push to internationalize its currency.
Jourdan previously worked for MoneyWeek in London.
