Reuters announced Monday the launch of Reuters Open Interest, which provides commentary on market and economic trends.
Reuters Open Interest is available to LSEG customers via Workspace and on Reuters.com and Reuters newsletters. It will provide 25 to 30 dedicated columns per week, with new formats and offerings planned for the future.
The new offering builds on Reuters track record of delivering commentary though Breakingviews, which provides financial insight to corporate boardrooms, investors and policymakers.
“We believe that Reuters Open Interest will quickly become a go-to source of unparalleled insights on market and economic trends for financial professionals,” said Anna Szymanski, editor-in-charge of Reuters Commentary, in a statement. “The new platform demonstrates a significant investment in our LSEG partnership and is designed to provide readers with the insights and analysis they need to make informed decisions in today’s fast-paced markets.”
The columnists bring more than 150 years of combined experience and include Ron Bousso on energy, Karen Braun on agriculture, Mike Dolan on markets, Andy Home on metals, Gavin Maguire on renewables, Jamie McGeever on markets and Clyde Russell on Asia commodities.
The service will also provide commentary from finance professionals and academics.
