Reuters has hired David Jeans to be its space and defense correspondent.
He will be reporting on weapons, national security and Silicon Valley, focusing on major arms, space companies, and venture-backed startups.
Jeans was a senior writer at Forbes, where he covered tech. He is also co-author of the book, “Wonder Boy: Tony Hsieh, Zappos, and the Myth of Happiness in Silicon Valley,” published by Henry Holt & Co. in April 2023.
His work has previously been published by the New York Times, the Associated Press, and other publications.
Jeans holds a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree from Swinburne University of Technology.
