Reuters has hired Washington Post reporter Jacob Bogage to cover White House economic policy.
“The White House’s economic agenda is defining so much on the world stage, dictating war and peace, upending historic alliances, and redefining the relationship between the state and enterprise, and between enterprise and consumer,” he wrote on his blog. “I’m thrilled to be writing about that for a global audience.”
For the Post, he has been covering taxes, trade and other issues shaping President Donald Trump’s economic agenda.
Bogage led coverage of Trump’s tax and spending bill, breaking news on key policy decisions and explaining the intricacies of the legislation.
Before moving to the Capitol, Bogage was a member of the business breaking news team. He joined the Post as an intern in 2015.
He is a graduate of the University of Missouri.
