Reuters appoints Ross East Africa deputy bureau chief

Reuters has tapped Aaron Ross to serve as East Africa deputy bureau chief. Recently, Ross was a correspondent, West and Central Africa. His tweet reads:

“Thanks to dear friends and colleagues in Kinshasa, Dakar and beyond for a wonderful 8 years in West & Central Africa.”

Ross was a journalist at The Economist and GloalPost. He was an editorial intern at both Mother Jones and The Nation.

Ross has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
