Reuters appoints Gumbi its Southern African economics correspondent

Kopano Gumbi

Kopano Gumbi has joined Reuters as Southern African economics correspondent.

Recently, Gumbi was a business reporter for Newzroom Afrika, a South African TV news station. Her work has appeared in Forbes Africa, CNBC Africa and Reuters Breakingviews.

Gumbi has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cape Town and a M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
