Reuters appoints Geddie as lead writer in Tokyo

John Geddie

Reuters has tapped John Geddie to serve as a lead writer in Tokyo, where he will focus on politics and general news in Japan, and the North Asia region.

Geddie has been with Reuters for more than eight years, serving as reporter for IFR, correspondent, Singapore deputy bureau chief, Singapore bureau chief and senior correspondent.

He also reported for Euromoney Institutional Investor.

Geddie has a M.A. from the University of Edinburgh.
