Rest of World has hired Kinling Lo as a China reporter.
Lo was previously a correspondent covering diplomacy, macroeconomy, and tech policies for the South China Morning Post from Beijing.
Lo has spent most of her time in Hong Kong, where she was born and raised. She also worked in Washington D.C. in 2022 to focus on the reporting of China-U.S. relations.
She graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and holds a master’s degree in international relations from Tsinghua University. She speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
