She previously was at Fortune magazine as a data journalist. Previously, she was working as a freelance writer and researcher for the magazine.
She has also interned at Cincinnati Business Courier and Cincinnati CityBeat. She was also a freelance reporter for The News Record in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Malas has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Cincinnati.
ResiClub was founded last year by Lance Lambert, former Fortune real estate editor.
