Julie Walker, a reporter at Automotive News, has left the Crain’s publication.
She had been covering automotive dealers.
“I am looking for a new spot where I hope to use my storytelling and information-hunting skills to keep shedding light on the ever-fascinating world of auto retail,” she said.
Walker previously spent eight years at the Detroit News as a designer, copy editor and writer. She also worked at the Oakland Press and the Dearborn Press and Guide.
She has also freelanced for The Detroit Free Press, Hour Detroit, Model D Detroit, the Downriver News-Herald and the Belleville Current, among others.
She is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
