Reid to cover European retail for Reuters

Helen Reid

Reuters has tapped Helen Reid to cover European retail news.

She is based in London.

Reid previously was pan-African mining correspondent and she previously was in London covering the stock market.

Reid has been with Reuters since August 2016. She previously worked for TXF: Trade and Export Finance as a reporter and African Arguments as an editorial intern.

She holds degrees from the University of London and the University of Oxford.

He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
