Lizzie Kane, a real estate reporter at the Chicago Tribune, has left the publication.
“We thought we had reached a mutually beneficial agreement for my return,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “We had not. I think it’s time for me to move on. I accepted a buyout.”
A business reporter, she covers affordable housing and residential real estate. Before the Tribune, she was a real estate reporting intern at Bloomberg News.
Previously, Kane interned at The Indianapolis Star, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Dallas Morning News and the Baltimore Brew.
Kane has a B.A. from Davidson College.
