Randall joins Endpoints News as head of Signal

Former Bloomberg News senior reporter Tom Randall has joined Endpoints News as a vice president and head of Signal.

Endpoints Signal is a platform that pairs the independent journalism of Endpoints News with structured data, industry benchmarks and analysis, turning the perspectives of thousands of biopharma executives, investors, scientists and policy leaders into decision-driving insights.

Endpoints CEO Arsalan Arif writes, “His award-winning work on the future of transportation and energy is known for combining quantitative rigor and great storytelling. Randall spent nearly 20 years at Bloomberg, where he was also health and science reporter and deputy sustainability editor. He is a Gerald Loeb Award winner.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Drake University and two master’s degrees from Columbia University.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
