Ramaswamy hired by Reuters Breakingviews to cover crypto

Also joining Breakingviews is Anita Ramaswamy, who will be covering the cryptocurrency market and tech business. Anita comes from TechCrunch, where she has covered the digital currency and digital banking businesses from top to bottom, had a podcast, and spent a week last month interviewing several crypto nerds on stage for the flagship conference, Disrupt.

Before pursuing a career in journalism, she worked as an investment banking analyst at Wells Fargo Securities and Evercore Partners. And Anita graduated from Tufts University, where she wrote a weekly opinion column in Tufts Daily on business, tech, and policy issues and served as portfolio manager of a student-run investment fund. She will be starting in the New Year.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
