Reuters has appointed YP Rajesh as an editor, India politics and general news.
Recently, he was managing editor at India’s news media startup ThePrint.
Rajesh was an executive editor at India Today and served as Indian correspondent at The Straits Times. He also held editorial roles at The Indian Express.
Previously, Rajesh worked at Reuters from March 1998 to January 2008 as a correspondent, senior correspondent and chief correspondent.
Rajesh was also a correspondent at The Week.
Rajesh graduated from Maharaja’s College in India.
