Quinn named editor at large at Bloomberg Government

Liam Quinn

Liam Quinn has been named an editor at large at Bloomberg Government.

He joined Bloomberg Industry Group as a commercial strategy manager in April.

Quinn was deputy managing editor of the Washington Examiner. He began his career with News Corp Australia in Melbourne, Australia, in 2013. He then moved to New York in 2016, working for the Daily Mail, Fox News, and News Corp.

He studied at La Trobe University in Australia and at Michigan State University.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
