Tony Quesada, the deputy business editor at the San Antonio Express-News, has been named deputy editorial page editor at the Hearst newspaper.
He joined the Express-News in July 2021 after seven years as editor in chief of the San Antonio Business Journal.
Before being named editor-in-chief in 2014, Quesada was managing editor of the Austin Business Journal for five years and senior reporter for the Jacksonville Business Journal, both sister publications, as well as managing editor of the San Diego Business Journal.
Before his time in business journalism, he was executive editor of the News-Leader in Fernandina Beach, Florida, and assistant city editor at the El Paso Times.
