Punchbowl News has hired Laura Weiss, who will be covering all things financial services, banking and tax.
Weiss joins financial services reporter Brendan Pedersen as Punchbowl plans to launch its policy membership platform The Vault.
She previously spent six years at CQ Roll Call, where she most recently was a tax and economic policy reporter. She was a fellow at Hearst Connecticut newspapers and interned at the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Weiss is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where she was managing editor of The Dartmouth.
