David Pierce, the editorial director of tech news site Protocol, is leaving.
“It’s been an incredible, insane, wild last couple of years, and I absolutely could not be more proud of the thing we’ve built – and of all the cool stuff the team’s going to build going forward,” he wrote on Twitter.
Prior to joining Protocol, he was a columnist at The Wall Street Journal, a senior writer with Wired, and deputy editor at The Verge.
Pierce also worked at PC Magazine and is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
