Promising U of Maine senior goes pro, LA Times’ new deputy editor, Cosmo names assistant news editor

TBN celebrates the next generation of journalists with University of Maine senior Ava Buttacavoli (pictured) starting her first reporter gig at Wisconsin’s Daily Jefferson County Union. Matthew Ballinger is now deputy editor for content business strategy at the Los Angeles Times, and Samantha Olson is now an assistant news editor for Cosmopolitan.
