Previously, she served as editor of Yorkshire Business Review, a regional business magazine for Yorkshire. She formerly held the posts of senior reporter and deputy news editor at The Press York.
She also reported for the Lancaster & Morecambe Citizen and The Westmorland Gazette in the U.K.
Jefferson-Brown graduated from Lancaster University in England.
