Politico’s Overly departs trade beat for new project

Steven Overly

Overly previously worked as a reporter for The Washington Post’s Capital Business, writing about technology, biotechnology and venture capital in the Washington region, and across various other Post sections. He reported on the rapid rise and subsequent decline of LivingSocial, and the District’s efforts to foster a start-up ecosystem.

He studied business journalism at Columbia University as a Knight-Bagehot Fellow.
