Politico reporter Pavan Acharya is now covering energy policy for the news organization.
He has been covering transportation policy.
Before joining Politico, Acharya worked as an intern at The Dallas Morning News and The Texas Tribune (at the latter he reported on state education policy). He was also an intern with Block Club Chicago.
He is a graduate of Northwestern University, where he studied both journalism and political science. There, he served as a print managing editor at the student newspaper, The Daily Northwestern. He also reported on campus issues impacting members of the university community.
Pavan is based in Washington.
