Politico hires Yarrow to cover food and agriculture

Grace Yarrow

Politico has hired Grace Yarrow as a food and agriculture reporter.

She has been interning for Politico since January.

Yarrow was a reporting fellow at The Teas Tribune in 2023, based in Washington, D.C. She was previously a business reporting intern at the Minneapolis Star Tribune and interned at The Hill and the Press Democrat in Santa Rosa, California.

Born in Washington, D.C., she moved around the country before returning to the East Coast to attend the University of Maryland.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
