Politico has hires John Sakellariadis as a reporter to cover cybersecurity.
He started on Monday.
Sakellariadis just finished a year in Athens studying European Union cybersecurity issues as a Fulbright U.S. Student Research Grantee, and he’s previously written for publications including Slate and The Record. Earlier this month, the Atlantic Council published his report on the rise of ransomware attacks.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
