Politico has hired Roll Call reporter Chris Marquette to cover transportation.
He has been at Roll Call since July 2017 as a congressional accountability reporter. He covered Jan. 6 select committee, ethics investigations, the House Republican Conference and the U.S. Capitol Police.
Marquette was the runner-up for the Everett McKinley Dirksen Award for Distinguished Reporting of Congress in 2020.
He was a Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellow at the University of Michigan in 2022-23.
