Politico has hired Yasmin Khorram as a reporter on its federal economy team.
She will be helping to expand Politico’s coverage of political and policy risk, focusing on U.S. businesses and CEOs.
She previously was at Yahoo Finance as a senior tech reporter.
Khorram also spent a decade at CNN and four years reporting at CNBC. Some of her most impactful stories include her forensic analysis of C3.AI’s financials and an investigation into “pig butchering” crypto scams on LinkedIn.
Her breakthrough moment came covering Theranos, after spending every day in a courtroom for four months reporting on the trial of Elizabeth Holmes.
