Politico has hired Daniel Desrochers to cover international trade.
Desrochers is currently the Kansas City Star’s Washington correspondent. He covers Congress and the White House with a focus on policy and politics important to Kansas and Missouri.
He previously covered politics and government for the Lexington Herald-Leader and the Charleston Gazette-Mail.
Desrochers is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
