Politico has hired Erin Doherty as a polling and campaigns reporter.
She has been at CNBC covering politics and general news and previously was at Axios as a politics reporter covering breaking news and the 2024 election.
Doherty interned at ABC News, the National Journal and the Miami Herald.
She is a graduate of Georgetown University.
