Politico has hired Kathryn Carlson to cover European Union financial regulation in Brussels.
She has been a correspondent leading EU financial services coverage for MLex in Brussels.
She previously covered energy and trade as a reporter for MLex, and has written for Reuters and The Times of London among other outlets.
Carlson holds a degree in English literature from the University of Oxford and spent time working in Italy and France before making the move to Brussels.
