Politico has hired Giuseppe Macri from Bloomberg Government to be the editor of its Playbook newsletter.
He has been a deputy team leader for central news at Bloomberg Industry Group.
Macri has been at Bloomberg since October 2017 as an editor and reporter on topics spanning congressional policy and industry intelligence and information on the federal budget and appropriations, tech, telecom and cybersecurity.
He is a graduate of Shippensburg University.
