Stephen Heuser -- (M. Scott Mahaskey/Politico)
Global technology editor Stephen Heuser is among those left Politico as part of a restructuring.
“Deep thanks to all my colleagues at POLITICO for their hard work, goodwill, and trust over the years,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “More to share soon.”
Since taking on that role in 2022, he worked with members of Politico’s tech teams on both continents to build on its strengths and to nurture new stories with forward-looking and often international dimensions.
Previously, he was the editor of Politico Magazine and The Agenda. Before joining Politico, Heuser edited the Boston Globe’s Ideas section, as well as the Globe’s Pulitzer Prize-winning science coverage.
While at the Globe, Heuser was also its biotech reporter for two years.
A Yale graduate who started his career at the Boston Phoenix, Heuser has also edited the Globe’s coverage of higher education, medicine and the environment.
