Politico energy reporter Choi departs

Matthew Choi

Matthew Choi, energy reporter and author of Morning Energy newsletter at Politico, has left.

He tweets, “Thank you Politico for four amazing years. I’ll miss this wild and wonderful place. Stay tuned for what’s next!”

Choi joined as an editorial intern and then served as a web producer and breaking news reporter. Previously, he was a reporting fellow at the Texas Tribune.

Choi graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science.
