Kia Kokalitcheva, Pitchbook senior editor of venture capital, has left the news organization.
She had been there since January 2025.
She had been covering venture capital and tech deals at Axios. She previously was a tech reporter at Fortune before joining Axios in January 2017. Kokalitcheva had covering technology and Silicon Valley with a focus on the “on-demand economy” at Fortune.
Before that, she worked at VentureBeat for six months covering early-stage startups and funding.
Kokalitcheva is a 2012 graduate of Cal Berkeley with a degree in political economy.
