Pitchbook has hired Alvaro Ledgard as a senior reporter covering leveraged loans.
He has been a Latin America primary bond market reporter at Debtwire. Previously, he was an intern reporter at Bloomberg News.
He has also worked as an economics and finance analyst, senior economics and finance analyst, subeditor, and then as editor-at-large at Semana Económica, a business and economics magazine in Peru.
He also won the Philip Greer award for best financial writing 2021. Ledgard has a M.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
