The Phoenix Business Journal has named Paul Thompson as its new managing editor.
Editor in chief Greg Barr writes, “Thompson will lead the day-to-day operations of the award-winning Valley business publication’s editorial department, guiding reporters and working with other editors to maintain the Business Journal’s reputation as Arizona’s leading source for insightful business news and analysis aimed at a business-to-business audience.
“He comes to Arizona from the Austin Business Journal, an affiliated publication of the Phoenix Business Journal, where he was assistant managing editor for the past five years, working closely with its group of reporters and other editors to shape its editorial coverage. Thompson also wrote multiple long-form investigative business feature stories, something he will continue to focus on in the Valley.”
