The Philadelphia Business Journal has hired Rachel Ravina to cover technology, innovation and higher education.
She will start next week.
Ravina has been a reporter covering government beats for MediaNews Group, including The Reporter, The Times Herald and other outlets in the greater Philadelphia region.
She previously worked as a reporter for Bayside Gazette and Ocean City Today in Maryland.
Ravina was also a digital content producer for the CBS affiliate WINK in Fort Myers, Florida.
She is a graduate of Penn State University.
