Pensions & Investments, a Crain publication, has hired Jesse Pound as an asset management reporter.
Pound has been at CNBC covering market-beating fund managers and investing trends.
He has worked at CNBC since June 2019, first as a newsroom fellow and then as part of the markets team.
He got his master’s degree in finance from Villanova University and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a dual bachelor’s degree in journalism and economics.
While at Oklahoma, Pound served as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper and worked as an intern for The Oklahoman and the San Antonio Express-News.
