Brendan Pedersen has joined Punchbowl News to cover financial services, including Congress and regulators.
He has been at American Banker covering financial policy. He had previously covered the FDIC, OCC and financial tech regulation.
Before joining American Banker, Pedersen was a reporter at Kiplinger Personal Finance covering tech, money and health care.
Pedersen spent a summer working as a reporter at BusinessDen.com, which covers business news in Colorado, as a Dow Jones News fund intern. He graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a degree in journalism and political science.
He also worked at Kiplinger one summer as part of the American Society of Magazine Editor’s summer immersion program.
