Pan swaps CoinDesk for Bloomberg to cover crypto

David Pan

David Pan will be joining Bloomberg News as crypto and blockchain companies reporter, based in New York.

He begins in February.

Pan comes from CoinDesk, where he was a reporter since 2019. He has also interned on the Money desk at USA Today, where he covered retail, industry trends and stock market moves on both print and digital platform. He also worked with the video and visual teams to produce multimedia packages.

He was also a news assistant at The Wall Street Journal.

Pan has a B.A. in English language and literature from Northeast Normal University and holds a master’s degree in international journalism from Renmin University of China. He also holds a master’s degree in business and economic reporting from New York University
