Michael O’Dwyer has been named the deputy companies editor at The Financial Times.
He has been the chief UK business correspondent, writing about the intersection between UK business and politics and about the big issues facing British companies and their boards. He was previously the FT’s accountancy correspondent.
Before that he was a reporter at the Telegraph, covering sectors including financial and professional services.
O’Dwyer was jointly named young journalist of the year at the Wincott Awards for 2020.
