The New York Times has hired Andrea Fuller as a data reporter based in New York.
She comes from The Wall Street Journal, where she has worked since 2014 as a member of the investigations and data teams.
Fuller is an award-winning journalist who has illuminated the ways elite colleges load graduate students with debt they cannot repay, investigated investors’ charitable giving, and reported on how Silicon Valley startups flout federal regulations. At The Times, she will work closely with the Washington bureau.
Previously, she worked as a data reporter for Gannett Digital, The Center for Public Integrity and The Chronicle of Higher Education. She is a graduate of Stanford University.
