Melina Delkic, an editor on The New York Times’ business desk, will be joining the Express team as a senior staff editor.
She begins on June 21.
Delkic started work at the Times on the print hub, editing the Times Insider and other material on Pages A2 and A3. She worked on the newsletters team, covering Chinese tech, protests in Hong Kong and more.
She also served as a general assignment and breaking news reporter on Sundays for National, Metro and Live, reporting on the pandemic. Prior to the Times, she worked at Newsweek as a reporter.
In addition, she has interned at The New York Times, ABC News and The Journal News Media Group. She was also a blogger at The Huffington Post and a contributing writer at USA Today.
Delkic graduated from Georgetown University.
