Nimmo named UK biz editor at Bloomberg

Bloomberg News has named Jamie Nimmo as its U.K. business editor.

He joined the media organization in 2023 as an editor on its global business team.

He had been associate business editor at The Sunday Times in London. In his new role at Bloomberg, he will continue to write.

He previously was a City reporter for The Main on Sunday and a market reporter foe the Evening Standard.

Nimmo holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Warwick.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
