Nikkei Asia taps Coleman as opinion editor

Zach Coleman

Nikkei Asia has named Zach Coleman opinion editor, following the departure of Jason Koutsoukis.

Recently, Coleman served as deputy editor. Coleman has written and edited business news stories for more than 20 years, having mainly been based in Hong Kong since 1999.

He contributed to USA Today, Quartz, FT Wealth, Charlotte Observer, Boston Globe and San Francisco Examiner. He was assistant news editor, Asia world news editor and web editor at the Financial Times.

He formerly reported for The Wall Street Journal and Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Coleman has a B.A. from Harvard University and a M.A. from Columbia University.
