The (Raleigh) News & Observer has hired Brian Gordon to cover technology news.
Gordon has been a senior North Carolina statewide reporter for The Asheville Citizen-Times and the USA Today Network. He previously covered education and social issues for the Asheville newspaper.
He previously was a freelancer with articles published in Vice, Gothamist, South China Morning Post, VeloNews, Toronto Star, ESPN’s The Undefeated, The Buffalo News, Democrat & Chronicle, Jackson Free Press, Rochester City Newspaper, BloodHorse and Deep South Magazine.
Gordon holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
