New England Biz Media hires Meagher as research director

Stephanie Meagher

Stephanie Meagher, who led the research department for New England Business Media from 2015-2019, has returned to the parent company of the Worcester Business Journal and Hartford Business Journal to serve as research director.

A Worcester Business Journal story states, “‘Stephanie redefined excellence when she last led our Research Department,’ WBJ Editor Brad Kane said. ‘We couldn’t be more excited to have her back.’

“As the research director, Meagher will lead the researching and compiling of all the lists published in every edition of WBJ and in the annual Book of Lists, with such efforts as largest manufacturers, top cannabis companies, largest banks, and biggest SBA lenders. As head of the department for New England Business Media, Meagher will perform similar functions for WBJ sister publications Mainebiz, New Haven Biz, and Hartford Business Journal, coordinating the market intelligence on more than 3,000 companies appearing in at least 250 lists.

“‘I’m thrilled to be working with the team at WBJ again. As a native of the Worcester metro area, it’s so interesting to track how the region continues to grow and adapt to a changing world,’ Meagher said.”
